Wireless carrier T-Mobile UK is set to soon launch on the market two new mobile phones, the T-Mobile Pulse Mini and Variy Touch II, the former being manufactured by Huawei, while the latter comes from ZTE. Both handsets were present on the floor at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this week, and a series of images and specs on them are already available for those who are interested in the purchase of low-cost devices.

The T-Mobile Pulse Mini mobile phone comes to the operator's airwaves with Google's Android 2.1 operating system on board, while also including a 2.8-inch touchscreen display that boasts an HVGA resolution, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity options, a 3.2-megapixel photo snapper, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroSD memory card slot with support for up to 16 GB of additional storage space.

The handset is being also marketed as the Huawei U8110 phone, comes with a resistive touchscreen, thus also being equipped with a stylus, and sports 15 panels, which are being arranged in a 5 x 3 grid, offering users the possibility to move from one homescreen to the next very easily, through swiping up, down, left of right. Unfortunately, the handset does not come with a GPS receiver, it seems.

The T-Mobile Variy Touch II from ZTE is another low-cost handset that the weireless carrier's users will soon be able to enjoy, being set to arrive in March on T-Mobile UK's pay-as-you-go plans. This touchscreen device comes with tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connecitivity on board, while also sporting a 2.0-megapixel camera, Bluetooth capabilities, FM radio, and a 2.8-inch PDA-style touch screen.

The T-Mobile Pulse Mini phone is said to come with a price tag set at £99.99, while the Variy Touch II is priced at £59.99. T-Mobile Pulse Mini will arrive in Germany in April, and T-Mobile UK is expected to launch it soon after. Those interested in the two handsets can take a look at the photos available below with them, and they can also watch a video with the Android 2.1 handset from Huawei, which emerged via MobileBurn.
