Wireless services provider T-Mobile is preparing the launch of a new Android-based smartphone from Samsung on its network.

The device, spotted online a few times before with the Samsung SGH-T699 model number attached to it, is now said to be bound to land on shelves under the name of Galaxy S Blaze Q.

A recently leaked internal document from the wireless carrier (available courtesy of TmoNews) confirms this phone’s existence, as well as its name, and shows that it might be released as soon as August 15th.

The smartphone will pack a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor and 1GB of RAM when launched, along with a 720p HD screen, and a sliding QWERTY keyboard. It will pack both front and back cameras, but details on them lack at the moment.

The phone is also said to be powered by Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
