Some of you might be familiar with T-Mobile Jump! program which will allow customers to upgrade their device.

Originally, the scheme was intended to be applied only on smartphones, but new information coming from Fierce Wireless reveals tablets will be allowed in the program as well.

That’s very good news for tableters, because being part of Jump! they will be able to upgrade, trade-in their device, while T-Mobile pays the device’s remaining payments up to 50% of the cost.

And there’s no limit to how many times you can do this a year. Of course, the customer must pay 50% of the device’s cost before jumping onboard to upgrade.

No word yet, on which tablets are going to be welcomed in the program, but we’ll probably see a predilection for cheaper, affordable devices like the Galaxy Tab series. Jump! kick-starts February 23.
