Wireless carrier T-Mobile will bring its new 4G LTE service to various markets around the United States before the end of this year, and it might also upgrade some of the existing handsets in its lineup to offer support for the network.

The company has already confirmed that LTE will arrive on Galaxy Note II via a software update, since the device already includes the needed hardware, but it seems that Nokia Lumia 810 might receive a similar treatment.

According to Engadget, the device comes with LTE connectivity inside, though dormant, yet a new software tweak from T-Mobile and Nokia might enable it in the not too distant future.

Provided that this happens, the Windows Phone 8 Lumia 810 will offer more value to T-Mobile’s users. However, they will also be able to purchase LTE-enabled BlackBerry Z10 and Galaxy S III (a revised version) devices soon.
