Both of the new phones come with support for HotSpot calls over WiFi

T-Mobile launches today two new phones that support HotSpot calls over WiFi, adding them to its offering of similar devices, BlackBerry included. The first of the new handsets is the UMA-compatible revised Shadow from HTC, which comes to the carrier’s lineup alongside the stylish Nokia 7510 flip.

HTC's Shadow will be offered by T-Mobile in two flavors, Black Burgundy and White Mint, this being the first Windows Mobile handset to come with HotSpot. Besides WiFi and Mobile Calling, the device also sports Text messaging and Instant messaging, including Yahoo!, MSN and AOL. The phone features a price tag of $349.99 with no contract, but it can be acquired for $199.99 upon signing a contract and after mail-in rebates.

Shadow comes to users with a 2.0-megapixel camera with video recording capabilities, Wireless Bluetooth technology, easy sync, video playback, music player, EDGE & Wi-Fi connectivity, Real web browsing, Voice dialing, as well as a Micro SD memory slot. The phone supports 850 MHz; 900 MHz; 1800 MHz; 1900 MHz frequencies, it measures 2.1 x 4.1 x 0.6 inches and weighs 5.3 ounces, and its 1100 mAh Lion battery can provide up to 7 hours of talk time and up to 7 days of standby time.

The Nokia 7510 is offered along with changeable faceplates. There are three different colors available, Emerald Green, Espresso Brown and Fatal Red. The handset also includes a semi-hidden external display, a 2-megapixel camera with video capture, FM radio and music player, Speaker phone, Easy text input, Bluetooth connectivity, Micro SD memory slot and Photo caller ID, as well as WiFi and Mobile Calling.

The Nokia HotSpot phone measures 1.8 x 3.6 x 0.7 inches, weighs 4.4 ounces, and comes with a Lion battery able to provide users with up to 3 hours of talk time and up to 12 days of standby time. The price of the phone is set at $49.99 on contract and after a mail-in rebate.
