T-Mobile is the first UK-based to offer an unlimited plan in the country. The carrier has just announced the launch of new “The Full Monty” mobile phone plan that offers subscribers unlimited calls, unlimited texts, as well as unlimited data.

“The Full Monty” plan will be available starting February 1 via T-Mobile stores, online shop, telesales and in-direct partners.

Aside from unlimited calls, texts and data, customers who commit to “The Full Monty” 24-month plan will also have access to unlimited Wi-Fi, and can use their mobile internet for tethering, downloading and streaming.

Over the past two years, we've seen a rise in mobile internet use of over 250%, which reflects the consumer trend of being 'always on' wherever they are. However, consumers also still want to retain a more personal level of communication by calling or sending a text,” said Ben Fritsch, head of propositions, T-Mobile UK.

There are four types of unlimited plans, each offering an appealing range of high-end smartphones. The £36 contract limits calls to other networks to 2,000 minutes per month, while the £41, £46 and £61 Brackets offer unlimited calls, texts and data, along with some of the most expensive smartphones for cheaper prices.

For example, the iPhone 4S 16GB is available for only £29 with the £41 per month plan, whereas the same smartphone is available for free for all customers who commit to the £46 / month plan.

The Full Monty has been designed for customers who want the peace of mind that there are absolutely no limits placed on their allowances, whilst also knowing they're getting market leading value for money. We believe our Pay Monthly portfolio offers plans to suit anyone's needs, all at accessible prices – and we're really proud to be the first to offer a plan like The Full Monty in the UK,” concluded Fritsch.
