Today, wireless services provider T-Mobile announced the upcoming availability of a number of no less than three devices that offer support for its HSPA+ network, and the Sonic 4G Mobile HotSpot was among them.

Two smartphones were announced today as being on their way to T-Mobile's 4G networks starting with October 12th, namely the HTC Amaze 4G and the Samsung Galaxy S II, complemented by the said hotspot.

The wireless carrier touts the new device as being its fastest 4G (HSPA+ 42) mobile hotspot, capable of providing users the possibility to connect a number of up to five WiFi devices to the wireless network.

With this device, users can stay connected to a 4G network that offers coverage in a number of over 150 markets throughout the United States, providing fast Internet access to a number of more than 170 million Americans.

In addition to its fast connectivity capabilities, the new device also comes with a microSD memory card slot, which enables users to add cards of up to 32GB to share and save photos, videos, documents, and the like.

Moreover, the new device comes with an OLED display on which users will view signal strength and an indicator of the number of connected devices. It will also inform users on unread text messages, connectivity to the Internet, battery level, and the type of network connection available.

The Sonic 4G Mobile HotSpot is expected to become available for purchase at T-Mobile in October, both via the carrier's retail locations, as well as online on its website.

“The Sonic 4G Mobile HotSpot is T-Mobile’s fastest mobile hotspot, providing access to
T-Mobile’s 4G (HSPA+ 42) network for up to five Wi-Fi enabled devices including iPads, music players, gaming consoles, laptops, cameras and eReaders, among other devices, all from virtually anywhere,” the carrier notes.

“Manufactured by Huawei, this sleek and ultra-portable on-the-go network hub weighs just 3.88 ounces, making it easy to slip into a pocket, backpack or purse.

“Whether staying connected on the go with colleagues and clients or providing a family Internet hub at a vacation spot or in the car, the T-Mobile Sonic 4G Mobile HotSpot is a device that uniquely complements the company’s existing lineup of mobile broadband devices on America’s Largest 4G network.”
