Smartphones are becoming increasingly cheaper these days, and the T-Mobile Pulse Mini, the Android-based device available in the UK for pay-as-you-go users, seems set to prove exactly that. The phone has been put on sale on the carrier's website with a price tag of only £99.99 attached to it, something that makes it available for a wide range of mobile phone users, that's for sure.

“Explore more than just the Internet with the T-Mobile Pulse Mini - the first Android phone available on pay as you go for just £99.99. With a free one-month sat nav trial from TeleNav you can go exploring and make sure you find your way. You can download thousands of applications from Android Market. The photos you take will look great too with the 3.2 megapixel camera and we'll even throw in 2GB of extra SD memory to store even more pictures,” T-Mobile states on its website.

Although not top of the line, the T-Mobile Pulse Mini still has a lot of features to offer to those who would like to make a purchase. The device is powered by the latest version of the Android platform, namely Android 2.1, and provides users with access to the Android Market, from where they can tap into the features of thousands of applications available for download.

Boasting tri-band connectivity, the device comes with 3G support, GPRS, Bluetooth, built-in GPS (Sat Nav software included) and with PC syncing capabilities. A 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash enables users capture important moments in their lives, while the included FM radio, Video player, Music player, and MP3 player offer wide entertainment possibilities. TV on your phone and Mobile Jukebox are also included in the mix, T-Mobile states.

Other specs and features of the phone include a battery that can deliver up to 4 hours of talk time or up to 300 hours of standby time, support for email, MMS and SMS, a memory card slot for additional storage space (a 2GB memory card included in the package), Internet browsing, and more. The handset measures 106 x 57 x 14 mm and weighs in at 106 g. It can be seen on T-Mobile's website here.
