T-Mobile USA has just announced that it will offer the HTC HD7 for free with a new two-year agreement or with a new line added.

Although the announcement was made via Twitter, the new offer is real and, as the carrier mentions, it's time limited.

T-Mobile customers looking for a bargain can get the HD7 for free until tomorrow, April 28.

Furthermore, this is a web-only offer, thus customers will be able to take advantage of the promotion if they order the device online from T-Mobile's webstore.

As a reminder, the suggested retail price of the HD7 is $499.99 off-contract, or $149.99 after a $350 instant discount and with a new two-year agreement.

Those wondering if the smartphone is delivered with the latest version of the Windows Phone 7 should know that T-Mobile and Microsoft have deployed the NoDo update (Copy&Paste) for the HTC HD7 one month ago.

Initially, the carrier offered the HD7 for $199.99 with a new two-year contract. However, in the hope of boosting its sales, the smartphone was the subject of several promotions and price cuts.

Equipped with one a 4.3-inch touchscreen, one of the largest included onto a Windows Phone 7 device, the HD7 packs 16GB built-in memory, 512 MB ROM and 576 MB RAM.

Its 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus and dual-LED flash is capable of capturing HD videos (720p).

The phone meets Microsoft's hardware requirements, as it is powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon processor, complemented by an Adreno 200 GPU (graphics processor unit).

It comes with integrated GPS (Bing Maps), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, as well as support for HSDPA and HSUPA.

The WP7 smartphone is powered by a 1230 mAh Li-Ion battery that should provide up to 310 hours (320 hours for 3G) of talk time or up to 6 hours (5 hours for 3G) of standby time.
