iPhone section of their website is quite telling...

Though there have been many reports of T-Mobile striking a deal with Apple for the iPhone in Germany and potential customers have already started showing their interest, nothing has been officially confirmed yet. Despite this, the closest thing to an official statement comes in the form of a web-site slip up.

While it was only on the site for a very short while, the Apple iPhone category went live at T-Mobile Germany's online phone store, according to the German-language newspaper Focus. Though the slip-up was quickly identified and the section of the site removed, it was online long enough for screenshots to be taken. There was no information about the price of the device or costs of the data and voice plans, the entire section being quite meager. It is doubtful that this section of the site was ready for public viewing, probably being little more than a test that was inadvertently made visible to the public at large.

While not incredibly newsworthy, this little slip-up does hint at the fact that Apple and T-Mobile have indeed reached an agreement. Not surprisingly, both companies have declined to comment and confirm any such deal. If Apple has indeed struck a deal with T-Mobile, this slip-up that confirms it is not going to make Steve Jobs happy, but considering that the company is on a tight schedule there isn't much that they can do about it.

So far, despite rampant speculation, Apple's partnerships, if struck continue to be a closely guarded secret and if the Cupertino Company gets its way will continue to be so. The iPhone has proven to be a massive success in the United States, and preliminary reports from Europe show that it will be received just as well here. Many believe that Apple is waiting for a landmark number of iPhones to be sold before they make any announcements about the European arrangements.
