Deutsche Telekom has just informed its customers that it will not be adding the Samsung ATIV S to its portfolio.

The reasons behind this decision are unknown, but word is the carrier thinks it’s doing alright with Nokia Lumia 920 sales.

Nokia Lumia 920 has been selling very well at T-Mobile Germany since December, which is why the operator does not wish to start offering a new Windows Phone 8 device.

According to WParea.de, customers inquiring on the availability of ATIV S have been informed the smartphone will not be stocked by the carrier anymore.

However, that doesn’t mean Samsung ATIV S will not be released by other German carriers in the next few weeks.

Perhaps O2 or Vodafone will start offering the smartphone in the not-so-distant future. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
