About a week ago, wireless services provider T-Mobile has made available for purchase on its airwaves a new highly-appealing smartphone, the T-Mobile G2x, which was available for purchase through the carrier's online portal, and which is now on shelves in the company's brick and mortar stores around the country.

Featuring a price tag of $199.99 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the wireless carrier, and after mail-in rebate, the device is listed with an off contract cost of $499.99.

The new T-Mobile G2x was made available for purchase through Amazon as well, which lists it with the same contract price as T-Mobile, but with the $599.99 full price.

A better deal would be the one offered by Wirefly, which has the smartphone at only $149.99 on contract.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the new mobile phone was launched as T-Mobile's own version of LG Optimus 2X, the first Android smartphone in the world to arrive on shelves with a dual-core application processor inside.

The fast processor enables the T-Mobile G2x deliver impressive performance levels to its users, while the support for the T-Mobile 4G HSPA+ network it was packed with enables users browse the Internet at blazing-fast speeds.

Some of the features that users would enjoy on this device include:

- Play the latest games, like N.O.V.A. and Need for Speed Shift, with rich 3D graphics - Watch YouTube or Facebook videos fast - Watch live and on-demand TV on the go

The specs list of the new T-Mobile G2x includes an 8.0-megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and video recording capabilities, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), Bluetooth, 8GB of internal memory, microSD memory card slot, built-in GPS, and the like.

“Powered by Android, the T-Mobile G2x with Google delivers the ultimate entertainment experience through gaming, the Web, and mobile TV - and with a dual-core processor, it brings you all the speed and power of America’s Largest 4G Network,” the wireless carrier explains on its website.

Those who would like to purchase the new smartphone online would find it available on T-Mobile's website here, on Amazon here, or at Wirefly here.
