T-Mobile G2 Touch, the third mobile phone the Taiwanese company HTC Corporation launched with Google's Android operating system on board, will become available for purchase in the UK starting tomorrow. The handset has already been launched in the country via Orange UK as HTC Hero, yet this time it comes as a special version, customized specifically for T-Mobile.

The mobile phone carrier announced the near availability of the device via its Twitter account. In addition, the company also stated that the handset would only become available for purchase online tomorrow, and was expected to arrive to its stores in the next few days. For what it's worth, the device comes quite fast after the official announcement regarding the launch of the HTC Hero, and also fast enough to catch up with Orange UK, which put the device on sale about a week ago.

Being the third HTC mobile phone to sport Google's Android operating system offered the HTC Hero / G2 Touch the possibility to become the nicest such device in the line. Moreover, there are also those who say that it is the best such handset available at the moment on the market (Samsung has also launched a high-end phone under the OS, the Samsung Galaxy). One way or the other, it seems that users in the UK will benefit the most from the handset's availability, as it comes via two carriers in the country at the moment.

One of the most attractive features of the T-Mobile G2 Touch should be its user interface. HTC has packed it with a new such solution, called Sense, which should take the user experience to a new level. For the time being, Hero / G2 Touch is the only handset to have it, though the company announced that it planned to make it available on all its devices, Android and Windows Mobile alike. In case you're on the Android side, head to T-Mobile's website tomorrow to get your own G2 Touch.

Is this phone available for purchase in the U.S. yet? I did not see it at T-Mobile's website.
