Mobile phone carrier T-Mobile USA is expected to bring to the market in the near future LG's first Android-based tablet PC, the LG G-Slate, which should, among other features, sport 3D capabilities.

This is not the first time that rumors on this possible feature of the tablet PC emerge, but seems to be the first time that the said capability is shown on video.

The device was previously suggested to be on its way to the market with stereoscopic 3D capabilities on board, along with dual cameras on the back, which would also offer users the possibility to shoot 3D videos.

According to the latest rumors on the matter, the tablet PC should land on shelves with glasses-free 3D display, and the video embedded below, which is actually a music clip (but does show brief shots of the said feature on the device), seems to confirm that.

The LG G-Slate should arrive on the market with Google's Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system on board, which should offer support for this feature as well.

The tablet PC comes with a 8.9-inch touchscreen display on board, capable of delivering a 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, and is powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 application processor.

The specifications list of this device also includes an HDMI port and a microUSB port, something that was confirmed when the device passed through FCC's hallways.

T-Mobile and LG did not offer too many details on the upcoming device, though they promised more info as the release date for the G-Slate would approach.

The exact release date for the tablet PC is still a mystery, and the same applies to its price tag, though some suggested T-Mobile might have it at around $400 on contract, ubergizmo notes in a recent article.

It has been suggested that the G-Slate is not the only 3D-capable device that should hit the shelves in the near future, and that handset vendors are also prepping smartphones with this feature on board, but nothing was confirmed officially for the time being.
