The carrier will only sell the Q10 and Z10 via direct ship

Word on BlackBerry 10 low sales in North America emerged a few weeks ago, but the Canadian company declined any comments on the matter.

For the time being, it’s unclear why BlackBerry Q10 and Z10 sales are so poor in North America, a market that was among the strongest for the Canadian handset maker in the past.

Some claim the almost inexistent BlackBerry 10 marketing in the region led to extremely low sales for all devices powered by the new operating system.

Now, according to a few CrackBerry forum users, one of the United States major carriers, T-Mobile, will no longer sell BlackBerry 10 devices directly from its warehouses.

It appears that T-Mobile’s reps are already informing employees about this decision and have started to pull all BlackBerry 10 units off the shelves.

This means that someone entering a T-Mobile location in order to purchase a smartphone will not be able to choose a BlackBerry 10 device unless they know about it before and have already done their research.

Sadly, BlackBerry 10 devices will be available for purchase from T-Mobile only via direct shipping, so basically that puts an end to this mobile platform in the United States.

There is no official word from BlackBerry or T-Mobile, but the information seems legit and comes from different carrier’s employees working in various locations across the country.

We have already reviewed both BlackBerry Q5 and Q10, the latest 10 OS devices and thought they would eventually save the Canadian company from failing, but it looks like things are not going as well as we initially believed.

However, BlackBerry 10’s sales in other regions, including Europe and Asia are much better than what’s happening right now in North America, but there’s no telling whether this will be enough to keep the balance. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.
