Wireless carrier T-Mobile has finally confirmed the upcoming availability of the Sony Xperia Z smartphone on its network, announcing that it will be launched exclusively on its network in the coming weeks.

The flagship Android-based smartphone is set to hit shelves at the carrier in Black and a limited-edition Purple version, but no specific info on its pricing has been provided as of now.

However the carrier did publish a registration page for it, so that users could enter their email addresses to receive details on the handset’s landing. You can have a look at it here.

Xperia Z arrives with a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor inside, a 5-inch full HD touchscreen display, a 13-megapixel photo snapper with HDR video on the back, front camera for making video calls, and Google’s Android Jelly Bean operating system.
