Recent reports indicate that German-based mobile operator T-Mobile will deliver to its customers and users its first full touchscreen phone, and that the device in question is Samsung's T919.

Rumors about this handset have been around ever since mid August, but all details on it were a bit blurry, to say the least. But the waiting has come to an end for all of us, as we finally have some information and some fresh photos regarding Samsung’s device. Moreover, from the looks of it, if no one could say with certainty whether T-Mobile would be the retailer of the T919 so far, now it's almost sure that it will happen. The only thing left to truly confirm this and make it official would be a press release from either T-Mobile or Samsung.

A quick recap of what's known so far about this device would include specs like a 5MP camera with flash and a full touchscreen – that seems to be of at least 3'', GPS with voice command, streaming video support, video ringtone support, and microSDHC card slot. Unfortunately, this is about all the information available at the moment.

Of course, multimedia features and Internet connectivity are to be expected, along with Bluetooth and miniUSB, but since none of these has been confirmed in any way, we'll just have to see whether speculations will prove to be true or false.

Sources cited by TmoNews claim that Samsung T919 is expected to be launched in November, on the 10th of the month to be more precise, and that it will have a price of $149. This means that the waiting will not be too long but, with the G1 being launched on October 22, T919 should pack some breathtaking goodies under the hood, since the price difference is not that big either – the G1 will be priced at $179 with a 2-year agreement.

Either way, in the end, it all boils down to whoever is making the buy, so pricing and specs might mean nothing next to personal taste and preferences. But that does not mean that we can overlook the fact that the G1 is not actually what one could call the most stylish phone on the market.
