Mobile phone carrier T-Mobile has just announced the availability of 42Mbps speeds in 47 additional markets where the carrier's HSPA+ network is available.

With the launch of the new enhanced speeds in these markets, the wireless carrier is proud to be offering HSPA+ 42Mbps to users in 102 areas around the United States.

Through this network expansion, the wireless carrier can offer faster data transfer speeds, as well as increased network capacity and reliability.

The wireless services provider also notes that it has seen impressive download speeds of around 10Mbps on average, with peak speeds of 27Mbps, on their first 42Mbps device, the T-Mobile Rocket 3.0 laptop stick.

The mobile phone carrier also notes that over 150 million Americans should receive access to the increased speeds on its network by mid-2011.

On the carrier's fast network, users can enjoy a wide range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptop sticks, or a 4G Netbook and a Mobile Hotspot.

The Dell Streak 7 and the T-Mobile G-Slate with Google by LG are the two tablets that T-Mobile offers at the moment, complemented by the Dell Inspiron Mini 10 4G netbook, and the T-Mobile 4G Mobile Hotspot.

There are also the said 4G Laptop Sticks, including the T-Mobile Rocket 3.0, the Rocket2.0, the T-Mobile Jet 2.0 and the prepaid T-Mobile Rocket 4G.
