HTC touch hits German grounds

HTC Touch will be available from now on in Germany too, at all T-Mobile stores, under the name of "MDA Touch". The handset has been considered many times as a " iPhone killer", although Apple's phone is doing quite well, as a confrontation on the same market for the two smartphones has not occurred yet.

It's been less than two months since HTC Touch was released. Unlike the iPhone, this device has already managed to sign deals for its release on European grounds. After it already announced to bring it for its customers long time ago, T-Mobile finally makes this smartphone available in its shops.

MDA Touch has to bring some evolved features which make it a worthy competitor for a large number of evolved devices. Its 2.8 inch touchscreen combined with the TouchFLO technology provides an evolved and easy to use interface for the owner. The handset runs on Windows Mobile 6, which earns it a place among the most evolved devices.

Probably the greatest drawback in its fight with the iPhone has been that HTC Touch comes with only 128 MB of internal memory and a microSD card slot for some extra space. This is no match for the up to 8 GB that Apple's phone had to offer in its more evolved version.

Other specifications also include Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, EDGE and Wi-Fi data transfer. Moreover, the device is capable of handling a wide variety of media file types.

MDA touch will be available at T-Mobile from now with several data plans to choose from, according to the personal preferences and habits. The device will also be available for free, with the Flext 25 plus web'n'walk rate plan. This means more than 30 pounds a month, although people have not complained about it until now, as it happened in the case of the iPhone.
