New, improved methods to be introduced

One of the problems in our days is the fact that validation systems can somehow be easily tricked. That's why some things needs to be innovated, in order to take down this issue. Authentication systems need to get better and here are a few ideas that might be materialized soon, as I understood from beskerming.com.

One thing would be a sort of system that could identify a computer using the help of one of its components that would give every machine a unique ID. This is pretty much safe, but being based on a computer part, there might be a problem when more people use the same computer. A good idea would be for one program to assign to every user a certain code that depends on part of the machine's configuration. This means that a particular user can only use a service that requires authentication on the PC he belongs to. But this is more software-related, and we all know that programs sometimes crash, so this could cause problems as well.

If we should consider every machine's number based on a part of its hardware, then we have to take into consideration the disadvantages involved - what if the user upgrades his or her PC, adding some new card? There are some disadvantages if the authentication method is software-based, say you update your Windows and some of its base components change.

There are many difficulties in trying to install newer and better security measures concerning Internet validation. The sure thing is that user name and passwords are not enough anymore. They can be easily hacked and then used for malicious purposes. But if every account has a unique identifier that can not get "hijacked" then you have one tough to beat validation system.

The Beskerming people have stated on their website that they are working hard on this matter and that their experimental product is close to achieving the goal of allowing users to safely interact with online services and vice versa.
