Games might need to free up some space on their hard drives

The development team at The Creative Assembly is revealing the minimum and recommended system requirements for its upcoming strategy title Total War: Rome II, showing that the game needs a respectable 35 GB of free hard drive space for installation.

The minimum requirements to play the game are:

Windows XP / Vista / Windows 7 / Windows 8 - 2 GHz Intel dual-core processor or 2.6 GHz Intel single core processor or equivalent AMD - 2 GB of RAM - 512 MB DirectX 9.0c compatible card with shader model 3 and vertex texture fetch support - 35 GB of free hard drive space

To get the most out of the game, players should have:

- Windows 7 or Windows 8 - 2nd generation Intel Core i5 processor or AMD equivalent - 4GB of RAM - 1024 MB DirectX 11 compatible graphics card from either Nvidia or AMD - 35 GB of free hard drive space

Total War: Rome II will be out all across the world on September 3.
