System Power S7 PSUs from be quiet! Released

Shouting at someone to be quiet is always a bit counterproductive, since it obviously prevents silence from descending upon the land.

German power supply maker be quiet! pokes fun at this through its very name.

The reason the company is getting attention now is the new System Power S7 power supply series.

Efficient enough to earn the 80Plus Silver certification, they should be up for sale starting today (November 21, 2012).

Only the 450, 500, 600 and 700 Watt versions are really 80Plus Silver-certified though. The 300, 350 and 400 Watt PSUs only have 80Plus Bronze rating, though even that is significant.

Finally, the PSUs have a custom 120 millimeter fan that doesn't make almost any noise.
