System Essentials for Windows 8 remains one great piece of software, so it’s no surprise that so many users are actually paying for a full license.

The app has just received a new update that’s now available in the Store on all Windows 8 platforms, including x64, x86, and ARM versions.

While the release notes are pretty vague, they do mention that the new version comprises new features and more languages, as well as optimized and fixed code. In plain English, this means that System Essentials packs several bug fixes, plus new options for the built-in tools.

The app continues to work like a charm regardless of the Windows 8 flavor you’re using, so go ahead and grab the new version as soon as possible.
