Two of the various useful tools included in Microsoft’s Sysinternals Suite (created by Mark Russinovich) have been recently updated with fixes for issues previously spotted in them.

One of the updated tools is Autoruns, now up for download as version 11.31, with a fix for a bug that caused it not to automatically refresh when re-launched from the “Run as Administrator” menu option.

The second updated utility in the Suite is DebugView. The latest version of the tool is 4.79, which includes a fix for an incompatibility with Windows XP 32-bit. The issue was introduced in the v4.78 release.

These individual troubleshooting tools, along with the rest of the utilities included in the Sysinternals Suite, are an important part of Microsoft’s support services.
