A new version of Microsoft’s Systinternals Suite is now available for download, with updates to five of the tools included in the package.

With the new release, users will get updated Handle utility, now available as version 3.5, and an update for Process Explorer, which was released as version 15.22.

Moreover, Process Monitor was updated to version 3.03, while RAMMap went up to 1.21. The package also includes a new version of ZoomIt, namely 4.3.

Here’s what to expect in the latest version of the suite:

Handle v3.5: This update to Handle, a command-line utility that lists open handles, uses the most recent Process Explorer driver so that it now resolves system process handles and types.

Process Explorer v15.22: This release addresses a bug that caused Process Explorer to crash when viewing .NET thread stacks of 64-bit Windows XP and 64-bit Windows Server 2003.

Process Monitor v3.03: A bug that caused some symbols to not resolve in stack traces is fixed in this release. RAMMap v1.21: This fixes a bug that causes RAMMap to sometimes report an error on 32-bit versions of Windows. ZoomIt v4.3: This update to ZoomIt, a screen magnification and annotation utility, adds an option that enables you to configure it to automatically start when you login.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the Sysinternals Suite comes from Mark Russinovich, and that it was created so as to offer easy monitoring, reporting and bug fixing options through a variety of tools. This set of utilities plays an increasingly important role for Microsoft support services.

The new update for the popular suite comes only a few weeks after another release hit the web, with updates for Autoruns, Process Explorer, Process Monitor, PSKill, and RAMMap.
