Microsoft has once again been hacked by Syrian hackers

As promised, the Syrian Electronic Army attacked Microsoft once again this week and as we can all see in this screenshot, the group managed to break into the official Office Blog a few hours ago.

While the Syrian hackers have only modified one of the posts published on the blog to reflect that website got hacked “by the Syrian Electronic Army,” this is another proof that Microsoft needs to make its services a lot more secure, as the company got hacked for several times in the last few weeks.

Redmond is yet to release a statement on this, but most likely, no user data was compromised during the attacks.

At this point, all Office Blogs are up and running right now, with no signs of hacks still online at the time of writing this article.

We’ve reached out to Microsoft for a word on this, so we’ll update the article accordingly when and if we get an answer.
