Symbol6 Redux for iOS Addictive Puzzle Game Available for Download

Gogogic, an independent Icelandic developer of casual and social gaming, has just announced the availability of the shape-matching puzzler Symbol6 Redux, which is now available for download on the App Store.

Just like the name suggests, Symbol6 Redux is a rehashed puzzle game that features a simple, colorful and intuitive player interface.

Players will be challenged by this game of fast-paced recognition and hand-eye coordination, which is divided into three modes of difficulty (Kids, Normal and Expert).

The game targets players of all ages, from very young children to their parents, but also offers challenging play to even the most competitive, score-chasing mobile gamers.

“We want to create games that actually bring families together during the limited spare time people have rather than keeping them apart,” commented Iris Andresdottir, producer at Gogogic.

“Developing Symbol6 Redux we wanted to create a game that could be enjoyed by adults and children alike since this kind of title is really rare,” added Iris.

The main goal of the game is to tune the Symbol6 “machine,” a hexagon housing up to seven different movable tiles. These machine tiles must be dragged to match incoming hexagonal tiles that appear from the edges of the screen.

Some of the highlights of the game include:

- Match tiles according to their color and symbol;
- Switch the positions of any two tiles with the swipe of a finger;
- Build up combos by consistently matching incoming tiles;
- Flick correctly positioned tiles to intercept incoming tiles and earn extra points;
- Beware of incoming destructive tiles, which can disrupt your game;
- Rotate your machine or tilt your device to block their effects;
- Level up to repair your Symbol6 machine and progress to a more challenging pace of
play;
- Share your high scores with friends and family via Apple Game Center.

Symbol6 Redux is available for download from Softpedia and is compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad devices.

The puzzle game can be purchased for $0.99 for iPhone and iPod Touch version and $2.99 for the iPad.
