Swype, the software touch keyboard that offers users the possibility to type faster than usual, is expected to deliver support for the latest flavor of Android, 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, in the very near future.

In fact, the team of developers behind this application is expected to make the new flavor of the application available for download in a matter of days, a recent article on ComputerWorld notes.

Swype announced on Twitter that they were preparing a software update for their application, and that it would indeed arrive in a few days’ time.

“Get those Swyping fingers ready because our next update is only days away! Be sure to register at http://forum.swype.com while you're at it,” they said.

There is little room for speculation left here, especially after their follow-up tweet on the matter: "Indeed, this will be the ICS update + more goodies!"

All we have to do is wait and see what goodies the team has packed inside the new update, an official Ice Cream Sandwich-ready flavor.
