Since the holiday season is upon us, Swype decided it would be a great idea to offer its users some reasons to rejoice, and announced that Swype beta for Android was opened once again, though it's uncertain for how long. Swype BETA for Android comes with a nice range of enhancements, making the software solution ready for more end-users than before.

According to the company, those interested in trying the new version of Swype BETA for Android, should head over to the company's forums here to learn more on the matter.

The new version of Android Beta comes with a series of enhancements too, including:

- In English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German, and introducing French and an early, 'UNSTABLE' preview release of Chinese Pinyin - Now includes support for Double-Tap-to-Edit, Cursor Restore, and Voice-to-Text (requires Google Voice Search be included in your system firmware) - HVGA, WVGA, and WVGA854 Resolutions - don't worry we'll detect this automatically. Sorry, no QVGA - Limited End User Support - mostly via our forum - If your phone came pre-installed with Swype DO NOT download this beta (it won't work)

Those active Beta users who have their SwypeInstaller or Swype Beta expired should head to the same page on Swype's forum to login for receiving the updated version of the solution.

Those who haven't tried the solution as of yet should register with an email address there to receive a link to download Swype straight on their devices.

For those who might have not encountered the application before, we should note that Swype was designed so as to offer users the possibility to type faster on the touchscreen display of their devices.

Those users new to the software solution who encounter issues with the installation of the new release should head to Swype's troubleshooting forum.

“We have very specific guidelines for what kind of information we need to help you solve your problems, and with the influx of new users, we won't be responding to posts that don't include the necessary information,” the company announced.

The new Swype Beta for Android is available for download from Softpedia as well, via this link.
