Swype Beta for Android device has just been updated to version 3.26, which brings lots of new features and enhancements.

Based on users feedback, the developers introduced support for automatic updates, which means that starting with version 3.26 users will never have to use the application's installer again.

With the latest version of Swype Beta, users will get notified when a new update is available for download.

Furthermore, no less than 11 languages have been added and the application's installer has been streamlined to be smaller overall.

In this regard, the developer split the application into four regional downloads and one that includes all regions combined:

- Americas: US English, Spanish, French Canadian, Brazilian Portuguese ~5Mb - Western Europe: UK English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Finnish ~10Mb - Eastern Europe: US English, UK English, Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Slovak ~9Mb - South East Asia: US English, UK English, Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese (Simplified), Filipino ~8Mb - All Regions: Includes all 23 languages from the regional language versions. ~21Mb

In addition, Swype Beta 3.26 has a slightly different keyboard layout, as the numbers are now placed along the top row of keys to make it look like a standard keyboard.

Although the “Globe” button has been removed from all Beta builds, the key may be introduced in the future as an option in the settings.

A second page has been added to the symbols layer, so users should press the 1/2 key on the left to browse between the two pages.

Settings, Tutorial and Help menus have been entirely redesigned to be more user friendly and easier to browse.

With a long press on the Swype key users will be able to quickly access the Setting menu at any time.

Users can now update the application by simply accessing the Settings menu whenever a new update is available for download.

Swype Beta 3.26 for Android is now available as a free download from Softpedia and is compatible with all devices running Android 2.0 and up.
