The latest major update of Swype Beta application was pushed about two weeks ago, but the developers promised new features will be introduced in future updates.

True to its word, the company has just announced the availability of Swype Beta 3.26.92.361xx, which introduces a new “Context Prediction Engine" for English, French, Italian, German and Spanish languages, and adds the Japanese language to Pan-Asia build.

In addition, the developers have re-enabled the “Return Key as Emoticon in Messaging” for all builds except Pan-Asia, given the fact that it's incompatible with Japanese language.

Several keyboards (German, Italian, and Spanish) have been changed from NATIONAL layout back to standard, and the “comma-space-space” gesture has been removed.

The latest version of Swype Beta 3.26 for Android devices is now available as free download from Softpedia.
