Swipe Telecom is also planning on launching a second flavor of the smartphone, called MTV Volt V4 and featuring a 4,000 mAh battery inside.

This flavor of the device will also sport a pre-loaded exclusive TV player, so that users could enjoy access to popular MTV content while on the go.

“We are in a category with a tremendous aspirational value. The MTV Volt promises to be a perfect muse for tech enthusiasts of ‘generation next’,” Shripal Gandhi, founder and chief executive of Swipe Telecom, commented.

“In partnership with MTV, we will be launching an array of revolutionary products over the next few quarters, which will be truly disruptive,” he added.
