Unlike in other such coolers, the pump is not built into the water block

Water cooling systems can be really bulky things, made of several parts connected via pumps and hoses, but all-in-one models are much more compact and easier to use, though usually just as effective. Swiftech has released one that is unique even among its own kind though.

You see, normally, an all-in-one water cooling system has the pumps built as part of the water block. However, in the new H220-X model that Swiftech has now introduced, the pump is part of the radiator instead.

It is what allows for a better, enthusiast-grade pump to be used and increases overall cooling effectiveness. If you are a hardcore PC tweaker, you can replace the tubings and fittings if you wish, as the pump can handle even extra components like graphics cards and extra radiators.

If you aren't likely to physically modify the thing, however, never fear. The newcomer ships pre-filled and assembled, ready to mount on your CPU (with the radiator strapped to the side or top/bottom panel of whatever case your PC possesses).

For those who want an exact component list, the Swiftech H220-X boasts a 120 mm copper and brass radiator, a built-in backlit reservoir with visible coolant level, and the Apogee XL waterblock. All for the price of $139.95 / €103.
