Global provider of web-based business intelligence (BI) SwiftKnowledge, LLC is now offering native iPad support for its enterprise-grade, self-service reporting and analytics technology.

Thanks to the new development, iPad users looking to get access to, create and interact with intuitive BI reports and dashboards can now do so more easily.

The solution also enables users to analyze data, and share information wirelessly.

Customizable BI dashboards and reports are included, giving decision-makers what SwiftKnowledge calls “a natural and intuitive way to explore and analyze data in real-time.”

The solution was created so that users could navigate and access existing BI information from the iPad without needing additional training or re-creating content to better suit Apple’s tablet device.

“Industry reports consistently cite the iPad as the driving force behind increased mobile BI deployments and adoption rates, so it was a natural move to add iPad support to our self-service BI technology,” said David Macey, chief executive officer for SwiftKnowledge.

“The iPad is providing robust mobile computing to an even greater number of decision makers, the same people who need real-time access to accurate and unified information,” Macey said.

“In fact,” he added, “Apple now claims that more than 80 percent of Fortune 500 companies are currently deploying/integrating iPads in their enterprise communications programs.”

According to the man, even inexperienced users will be able to employ SwiftKnowledge on the iPad to easily search and analyze business data from a variety of data systems.

Security is also a strong point of the solution, when it comes to sharing that data, SwiftKnowledge said.

SwiftKnowledge subscribers get free support through the Safari web browser on the iPad at no additional charge, the company said.
