The Dutch manufacturers put MP4 player on sale

If you haven't heard of Sweex Dutch manufacturer, you can hear it now, especially if you're a woman, as most of their products seem to be focused on female customers. Lucky me!

Recently, the company announced the launching of Blizzard MP4 player. It boasts a generous 2.63" inch with 262H colors. The Blizzard is compatible with AVI, MP3, MP4, WAV, JPEG, BMP and GIF file formats.

Noting spectacular about this player, just a carefully crafted design, a piano black glossy casing and decent options. But I have to admit I was impressed by the 6cm screen size, quite generous for a no-name company.

It can be used as an e-Book reader, let's just hope all the countries are going to sell it with the original software. An additional feature would be an FM tuner - which the ladies can use to listen to some shows or news - and a great 1.3 megapixel camera, which enables them to take photos of up to 1280 x 1024 pixels. I really like this!

Moreover, the player can be used to record memorable family moments, as it can turn into a real camera and store videos in 640 x 480 pixel resolution. It is easy to hide in any fancy pocket, as it sports reasonable dimensions of 88 x 48 x 11mm, weighing 58g. However, I wouldn't suggest attaching it to a neck chain.

The player is equipped with a USB, microSD card slot and functions as a voice recording device when needed. Feel free to store funny birthday memos from friends, whenever needed.

The 1GB version is priced at 90 Euro, while the 2GB one can go up to $134. A pretty good price, considering you get a pair of Sennheiser MX 300 earphones to go with the MP4 player. Not bad at all for a first MP4 player!
