This week’s edition of Dancing With the Stars on ABC had celebrity contestants dance to their most beautiful and memorable year, so Suzanne Somers did a “Three’s Company” routine and dedicated it to her former co-star John Ritter.

Ritter passed away in 2003. By the time it happened, he and Suzanne had mended the bridges she had burned when she left the show over a salary dispute.

The actress’ pro partner Tony Dovolani played Jack’s part, while she resumed her famous role as the ditzy Chrissy Snow. As you can see in the video below, Chrissy “never had any brains.”

The dance number, a sleek Foxtrot, was set to the famous “Three’s Company, Too” theme song and got viewers at home very emotional. If you know the classic sitcom, you will notice that they even recreated the living room setpiece.

In the pre-taped footage, which is not included in the video below, Somers dedicated the dance to Ritter, saying while fighting back tears: “This one’s for you John. It’s the dance that Chrissy and John never got to have.”
