14 DAY TRIAL // Just days ago, Susan Boyle landed in the US to prepare for a surprise performance on the finale of America’s Got Talent, the US sibling of the show that launched her to international stardom. Hours after her arrival, a cover she recorded of Rolling Stones’ “Wild Horses” surfaced on the Internet, and it’s believed to be the track she will perform on the show.
Even if the song in question is not the chosen track for America’s Got Talent, it still goes to show that, where talent and passion are concerned, Susan Boyle has more than plenty. The leak also comes to offer fans an insight into what the singer has been doing in recent months, ever since she appeared on the popular British talent competition, when she locked herself in the recording studio with music mogul Simon Cowell to work on her debut album.

And, indeed, if there’s one thing that comes to mind when listening to Boyle’s “Wild Horses” that’s “classic,” as she delivers a perfect tune to little accompaniment – and certainly none of that studio trickery so painfully obvious in the releases of today’s pop artists. Then again, fans say, it’s not like Susan Boyle is anything even remotely close to a pop star, from her music and amazing voice to her looks and her down-to-earth ways.
