If Susan Boyle's fans thought Snoop Dogg's offer to record a duet with the Scottish singing sensation was an odd pairing, this one also comes close: Susan herself says she'd love to get in the studio with Rihanna.

The pop star is definitely one of the hottest artists for collaborations these days, with Eminem and Cheryl Cole enlisting her for duets. Susan too would love a piece of Rihanna – in the studio.

Speaking in a recent interview cited by Contact Music, about her latest hit album and what direction she'd love to take on a future musical project, Susan revealed she'd love to get into R&B a bit.

Of course, since her voice wouldn't allow her to do so, the best way to get around it would be through a collaboration – namely, with Rihanna, the singer says.

“There are certain types of music that you're good at and certain types that you're not. I mean, would I be good at R&B? I suppose you never know. Maybe me and Rihanna could get together,” Susan said.

In an older interview, she also revealed she'd like to sing with Sir Paul McCartney, while, on the other side of the pond, countless artists have expressed the desire to work with her, rapper Snoop included.

Meanwhile, Susan is doing a wonderful job at killing competition all on her own: her latest album – and her second to date – “The Gift” opened straight at number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, setting a new record in terms of sales for an album of the kind.

“Singing is the best job in the world, it really is fantastic. I’m just an ordinary woman who showed a bit of determination and this is what has happened. To have a second No.1 album is wonderful and something I never expected,” Susan modestly said when informed of her latest musical feat, as we also told you at the time.
