“I hope that telling it will show that dreams are not impossible,” Susan Boyle says of her decision to come out with her life story

She has a multi-million record deal and has sung in cities all over the world, in packed venues. Susan Boyle may be a relatively new artist on the scene, as compared to those who boast decade-long experience, but her story is an amazing one by all counts. Precisely because of this, the singer has teamed up with publishers Transworld to come out with a new book this autumn, Contact Music informs.

The autobiography, called “The Woman I Was Born to Be,” will detail Susan’s incredible rise to fame and how constantly soaring popularity has changed her life. It will be dedicated to her mother, whom Susan cared for until her final day, and whose death almost made her never want to sing again. The book will also talk in detail of the feelings and emotions she experienced while on Britain’s Got Talent, as well as when she first auditioned for the show, which is when she literally became an international superstar.

“The I Dreamed A Dream hitmaker shot to international stardom on Simon Cowell’s TV talent show Britain’s Got Talent last year (09), and after a whirlwind 12 months which has seen her top album charts all over the world, the 49 year old wants to lift the lid on her life. She has teamed up with publishers Transworld to detail her background, and plans to pay tribute to her late mother who she cared for until her death in 2007, at the age of 91,” Contact Music reports of the new venture.

“When I strutted on to the stage for that audition, I was a scared wee lassie little lady, still grieving for my mother, not caring how I looked. I think I’ve grown up a lot in the last year, become more of a lady, and I’m not so frightened anymore. I’m writing this book to try to show that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover and I hope it will benefit other people. My story demonstrates that you shouldn’t just look at the label, you should look at the whole person, emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually,” Susan herself explains in a statement of the reasons that prompted her to accept the offer.

As with everything she does, Susan Boyle sets out to show that not only do dreams come true, but she is the best example that they do. Her book, “The Woman I Was Born to Be,” should also be regarded in this light, motivating her fans to pursue their dreams no matter what – and to always stay true to themselves.
