Back in September this year, Susan Boyle arrived at LAX ahead of what was her first performance on a US television show. Not only did she perform “Wild Horses” on America’s Got Talent, she also got a standing ovation and confirmation – if it was needed anymore – that she was one of the most appreciated newcomers on the music scene. Susan Boyle is about to do a repeat of said performance this week, E! Online informs.

The Scottish singer, whose debut album arrives in music stores on November 23, is scheduled to perform on Dancing With the Stars on the season finale, when the winners are announced. It is not known yet what Susan will perform, but speculation in the US media says that chances are pretty good she’ll probably sing again the song that brought her to international attention and made her an idol with millions of fans around the world, “I Dreamed a Dream.”

“Susan Boyle may not have dreamed the dream of being a dancing queen, but that’s not stopping her from performing alongside a few of them. The Britain’s Got Talent phenom is making her way back to the States to perform on […] Dancing With the Stars results show. No word yet on what the Scottish songstress will don, but we’re willing to bet she’ll grace the stage in one of her glamorous new get-ups as she performs the hit that started it all, ‘I Dreamed a Dream’,” E! writes. As TMZ can confirm, Susan has already arrived in the US to prepare for the performance.

Over the weekend, the singer also did an interview with the British media, speaking for one last time about the mental breakdown she had earlier this year, when she had to be admitted to The Priory clinic in London after Britain’s Got Talent had ended, suffering from exhaustion and stress. As we also reported, Boyle also touched upon the topic of her much-mediate makeover, saying any other woman in her stead would have done the same and insisting it did not change who she was deep down inside.

“I was fed up with being called that.” Boyle says of the “Hairy Angel” nickname she got stuck with after the BGT audition that made her an international star. “I didn’t know what I looked like on television until I saw myself on Britain’s Got Talent. I saw this wee wifey with the mad hairdo and the bushy eyebrows and said, ‘Hmmm, not really telegenic.’ So, I decided to spruce myself up a bit. When I look in the mirror now, I see this sophisticated lady. I’m still a bit like that wee wifey inside, but more refined in some ways. I think any woman would have done the same. Would you want to look like the Hairy Angel? I don’t think so,” the singer further explains.
