Adam “Pacman” Jones punched a woman in the head earlier this month, says it was in self-defense

On June 5, outside a club in Ohio, NFL star Adam “Pacman” Jones was accused of punching a woman in the head. He pled not guilty to assault yesterday but the surveillance video that popped up online confirms that he did hit the woman.

In court, the female victim says Jones picked on her and her friends and she simply “stood up” to him. He punched her because of that, without the smallest provocation on her part.

In return, Jones told the judge that the woman threw a beer bottle at him close range, so he only hit her because he was trying to defend himself.

The video shows that the truth is in the middle: the two seem to get into an argument of some sort (at the 0:50 mark in the video below), and he reaches for her.

She responds by pouring a glass of beer on him and he punches her, knocking her to the ground.
