A surveillance video has made its way online, following the Justin Bieber DUI and drag racing scandal, claiming to offer footage of the alleged race.

Justin Bieber was pulled over by police in Miami Beach on Tuesday, January 21 and arrested on suspicion of DUI, driving with an expired license and drag racing. The footage obtained by WFOR CBS Miami shows the cars involved in the incident.

First, there is Justin's yellow Lamborghini driving by, escorted by a red Ferrari and a couple of Cadillac Escalade SUVs. Seconds later, a police car can be seen in the shot, giving pursuit to the group. Police say that the yellow Lamborghini was driven by the pop singer.

According to police reports, the Lamborghini and the Ferrari were observed racing side by side, after starting from a stop position. The SUVs were used to block off the street and give the racers a clear path.

The red Ferrari was driven by Justin's friend Khallil Sharief, who was also detained after the police pulled the group of cars over. The final report says that Bieber resisted arrest, was “a little belligerent, using some choice words” and demanded several times to know why he was being pulled over.

It's been mentioned that he grew more cooperative while he was in arrest and his mug shot shows him smiling, despite rumors that he cried during his time in the lock up. Later, he admitted that he had taken prescription medicine, had been smoking marijuana and had also consumed alcohol.

This video comes to shed some light in the scandal that say the Canadian singer spend a few hours in jail before making bail. At the moment the news emerged in the press, Jeremy Bieber, Justin's father, blamed the media for spreading lies.

The singer has remained oddly silent through all of this, posting just one photo of himself as he was released from custody, atop an SUV, greeting fans with a raised hand. The picture was posted next to one of Michael Jackson in a similar pose, indicating that he was trying to make a connection with the pop legend.
