14 DAY TRIAL // The folks over at Vostok Games promised last month that the first open beta for Survarium MMOFPS would open for all players on January 5, along with the addition with new European servers.
This means that besides players from Russia and Poland, other players living in any European country will now be able to join Survarium in the open beta.
The launch of the open beta for Survarium was possible with the addition of new servers in Europe. That doesn’t mean that players in countries located outside of Europe won’t be able to join the open beta.
However, North American players or any others playing from countries outside of Europe will probable experience some lags. Considering that Survarium is an FPS game, the lag will probably make many players avoid it until Vostok Games manage to add some North American servers as well.
Still, for some North American players Survarium may work well, so it would be better to try it out first and see how it goes.

Keep in mind that the Suravarium open beta only contains two variations of PvP mode: Team Deathmatch and Battery Retrieval.
The game has already been localized into Russian, Ukrainian, English, German and Polish, but additional languages will be added in the not-so-distant future.
Developers have also confirmed that the transition of the game to open beta in Europe does not mean the end of the project. Lots of new features and improvements will be added in the coming months, including the highly-anticipated FreePlay (PVE) mode.
For those who never heard about Survarium, Vostok’s game is a spiritual successor of S.T.A.L.K.E.R, so expect a similar dark and gritty atmosphere.
The MMOFPS game focuses on the aftermath of a huge ecological disaster with vaguely known causes. The game is developed by Vostok Games using an in-house engine. We highly recommend those who are into FPS genre to give Survarium a go.
