Fedora continues its long and proud tradition of constant delays

The Fedora developers have decided to delay the release of Fedora 20 “Heisenbug” by another week because of a few unresolved bugs.

This is not the first and probably not the last time Fedora gets delayed. In fact, the Fedora distribution has a long tradition of delays.

“Today at Go/No-Go meeting it was decided to slip Fedora 20 Beta release by one week due to unresolved blocker bugs, see the blocker tracking app. More details in meeting minutes. As a result, ALL MAJOR MILESTONES, and their dependent tasks, will be pushed out by one week. The new Fedora 20 GA date is now Dec 10,” stated Red Hat's Jaroslav Reznik.

From the description given by the developers, it doesn't seem to be a major problem, but we certainly hope that it will not be delayed again.
