Izzy and Danielle Paskowitz put in place Surfers Healing after finding out that their own son was autistic.
According to the interview posted above, the professional surfer was affected by his son's ordeal and decided to take him surfing as a form of therapy.
He realized that being in the water helps, so he started the one-day camp to help other children. The camp is free and kids can learn and have a good time being in the water.
