The company reveals the new countries to get the device

Ever since it launched the Surface Pro in the United States and Canada, Microsoft has been saying every once in a while that the device would go on sale in new countries, probably in an attempt to keep interest high across the world.

While it’s still struggling to cope with the Surface Pro 128 GB model shortage in both the US and Canada, Microsoft announces that its new Windows 8 tablet will go on sale in Australia, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom “in the coming months.”

While this could hardly be called news given the fact that the “coming soon” label was placed on the local Microsoft page of each of these countries, the company says that more information will be provided in the next few weeks.

In the meantime, the Redmond-based tech giant has one more problem to deal with, as consumers keep reporting all kinds of issues with the Surface Pro.
