While the Surface RT, Surface 2, Surface Pro, and Surface Pro 2 tablets don’t benefit from any changes this month, Microsoft’s latest portable device, the Surface Pro 3, receives a September 2014 firmware and drivers update package.

The present release improves the system experience and enhances overall wireless and system stability through the new 3.10.250.0 Surface Pro UEFI version. It also increases system reliability and compatibility with a Surface cover thanks to the 3.9.350.0 Surface Pro System Aggregator Firmware update.

In addition to that, the 15.68.3055.107 Surface Wi-Fi and Bluetooth driver update included in the September 2014 pack enhances the technologies’ reliability and system stability, as well as improves the overall user experience.

Moreover, the latter changes are improved once more through the new 2.0.1102.0 Surface Integration driver version.

Last but not least, the latest generation of Surface tablets will also receive a Surface Pro Embedded Controller Firmware update (version 38.6.50.0) that improves the system performance support, as well as the thermostat icon on boot support.

Besides all these new changes, you should know that the latest update is provided in stages to Surface users, as this is the way Windows Update works. However, you can manually save and apply this downloadable package in order to benefit from these improvements right away.

That being said, download Microsoft Surface Pro 3 September 2014 Update and install the package on your tablet. Also, constantly check our website in order to stay “updated one minute ago.”
