Users have found yet another problem with the tablet

The Surface Pro 2 was supposed to be a much faster device as compared to its predecessors, but according to some posts on Microsoft’s Community forums, its performance is way below expectations.

That’s mostly due to a number of issues causing high CPU usage after resuming from sleep, with multiple users confirming the problem on their tablets.

“Soon after receiving the Surface pro 2 I noticed high CPU usage (25-30%) by System and System Interrupts only when I resumed from sleep. The CPU would stay that way forever until a reboot, but after rebooting the CPU would be quiet until sleep/resume again. I had installed all updates (the firmware update, GA update, etc) and Office, but nothing else,” one user explained.

At this point, no workaround seems to be able to solve users’ problems, so everybody still expects for a patch to address these issues. This month’s firmware updates do not seem to make any difference.
