Tails, a live system that aims to preserve your privacy and anonymity and that helps you use the Internet anonymously, is now at version 0.19.

As usual, the developers of Tails have implemented a brand new Linux kernel and updates for a lot of packages, not to mention a sleuth of fixes.

Highlights of Tails 0.19:

• Linux kernel has been updated to version 3.9.5-1; • Iceweasel has been updated to version 17.0.7esr; • Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, WWAN and WiMAX have been unblocked; • The write access to the boot medium has been fixed at the block device level; • tails-greeter l10n-related fixes have been implemented; • GNOME proxy settings have been dropped; • live-boot and live-config have been updated to version 3.0.x from Debial Wheezy.
