SurePayroll Launches World’s First Paycheck iPhone App for Employees

Processing payroll is now faster, easier and more convenient with SurePayroll's free Payroll app for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. SurePayroll's app is the only payroll app of its kind in the market, the company said.

Using the Mobile Payroll app for iOS, customers can access their SurePayroll account and run payroll anytime, anywhere.

Users can pay hourly, salary and 1099 contractors, enter wages and hours for payroll, vacation, sick and personal time, see payroll submission and approval alerts notifications, or preview payroll totals and payment methods, to name a few strong points.

“Because paychecks are often variable for hourly employees, and even salary employees who change deductions such as retirement contribution amounts, SurePayroll developed Mobile Paycheck so employees can find out how much they've earned the second they get paid, and access important benefits information from wherever they are,” the company explains in a press release.

As such, they created a complete solution which provides iOS device owners with “instant access to paycheck details including earnings, taxes, and year-to-date totals, as well as used, available and earned vacation, sick and personal time.”

Employees can also view their wage rates and retirement deduction contribution rates using the tool, as well as access past pay stubs, SurePayroll says.

In addition to obtaining wage information, the app offers a convenient way to view other types of payroll information, according to SurePayroll's VP of Product Management Steve Kania:

"It's amazing how often employees need to access payroll data,” Kania notes.

“They need past paystubs when getting a home loan; they need to know their vacation accrual before planning time off; and they need retirement contribution amounts when meeting with a financial planner.

“In the past employees accessed their SurePayroll accounts securely online. With Mobile Paycheck, that information is available to them wherever they are, in just a few touches to the screen," says Kania.

The application is available for free download using the link below. It is compatible with all iOS devices and requires iOS 3.1.3 or later and an employer with a SurePayroll account.
